We’re hosting beer tasting from 10am – 1pm on Saturday 27 July 2024 and we would love you to join us.

Petrol is expensive so we’re bringing the beer to you. And to make it better let’s do bunny chows.

In this economic climate we know getting out is a luxury so we’re offering an Early Bird Discount* to reward our most organised customers.

Sam, from Malt’n’Hops [Beresfield] is a firecracker and she’ll be here to help you choose a beer to enjoy. Then, settle in with your meal.

A bunny chow is a South African tradition of a bread loaf filled with curry. You eat the curry inside with the bread and accompaniments. Use cutlery or hands. However you feel is fine by us.

Munch on your bunny chow washed down with a beer of your choice. Choose your curry filling:

1. Five Veg Curry : Our popular curry of sweet potato, potato, carrots, peas and chickpeas.
Or
2. Beans Curry : Traditional South African curry of bone in lamb with beans and potatoes.

Choose two accompaniments from:
A. Sambal : Tomato, onion and chilli in lemon juice, tart and hot.
B. Chutney : House made chutney, sweet
C. Greek yoghurt, cooling.
