Australia Day Sundowners
Have sundowners with us!
Come celebrate our nation, those that have always been here and those that have chosen it as our home.
We’re always vocal locals but this Friday we’ll showcase some more uniquely Australian ingredients to accompany your refreshing beverages.
Sundowners are timed to be after work and on the way to dinner. Or a quick outing to meet friends, catch a breath and recharge your humanity while the kids are being bathed and fed by your very helpful relative.
Graze on a stack train and Aussie Day nibbles, order a couple of drinks and have a chat.
However you get to us, we’ll look after you.

1. One Aussie Day Stack Train between two
– two cheeses

– house marinated olives
– house made and artisan pickles

– Jesus bread and accompaniments
2. One dozen oysters between two
Choose from:
– Natural : served with lemon
– The Finger : natural and served with a side of our finger lime dressing
– Macca : served hot topped with a savoury macadamia crumble
3. Our sparkling company and attention.
4. Our kitchen will be open for our full drinks menu. To provide you with our best attention, our take away Early Risers menu will be unavailable. Please contact us at least 48 hours advance if you’ve booked for Sundowners and would like additional food options and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Notes:
Please feel free to come along unaccompanied. Individual portions are just as tasty. Our inside space is cosy enough for our independent customers to converse with nearby tables and we have outside space for those of us that are content in our own company.
Please let us know if you prefer us to prepare vegan options in your Australia Day Nibbles.
Please let us know if you prefer a vegan option instead of cheese in your stack train.
Due to the small size of our kitchen we cannot guarantee anything we serve is gluten free. However, if you cannot tolerate gluten, please let us know in advance. We can prepare your plates in advance away from obvious sources of gluten. We can promise to do our best to look after you.
